Some of you may have been shown this in a previous global class but i recently discovered this On Netflix during the x-mss break and i really want to share it. This video is about a doctor, his team, and a camera crew going to North Korea on a mission to do more than 1000 surgeries in less than 10 days on patients with cataracts. His camera crew also tries to capture how life really is in North Korea. I wanted to talk about this topic because North Korea is still a very relevant country in todays history and their have been many stories about things that happen there. This was very baffling to me because of how the people are so brainwashed by their leader. Koreans refer to him as the Great Leader and are complete blind to the terrible things their leader is capable of. You will see also towards the end how greatly dependent the people are on their leader and how they worship him as a God. Its just sad to know that people are trapped in a country with an oppressive leader. This video makes me appreciate America's government and the opportunities i am able to have just because i live here. THIS VIDEO IS ABOUT 45 MINUTES BUT IT IS COMPLETELY WORTH IT!
