Two days ago (November 7th), it was announced that there would be a ruling on whether or not Missouri cop Darren Wilson would be indicted in the killing of Michael Brown. In response to this announcement, the town of Ferguson reacted in a horrifying way. Almost every store boarded it's windows for fear of broken glass and stolen merchandise, the police got new shipments of tear gas and the protesters who have been out on the streets for over two months have prepared themselves to be once again stunned by the incompetency of their law enforcement. An indictment was not forthcoming that night and as of now there has been no decision made.
Now, I am still amazed that the police officer Darren Wilson has not been arrested for the cold blooded murder of an unarmed teenager. I am further amazed by the fact that the government's response is to violently silence any protests to this massive offense. Now that the town is being forced to further prepare themselves for violence, I am not hopeful about the ruling that is coming. And due to the article posted below, I think the Ferguson police are very concerned about keeping their atrocities quiet. Earlier this week, it was revealed that the police requested no-fly restrictions over the town in order to keep the media from seeing things unfold in real time.
