This is a forum to research, present, discuss, and argue. Remember to be respectful of everyone's views. Your arguments on a topic must be well considered and thoughtful. Be sure to fully explain your ideas with support. Don't just say, "dude, you're totally wrong". The previous statement will not count as a post.
Requirements: : Students must register with a name that is recognizable to me. Please format all names like this Period Last Initial and First Name. For example, if I was in period 3 my name would be 3CMarla. In order to create a thread, students must have a document to base their ideas off of. This can be a link to a news or magazine article. This can also be a link to a news video or documentary's point of view. You must then create an argument based on this article. For example, if I found a story about the benefits of solar panels, I may create an argument based on the findings in that article. This counts as one post.
Students may also respond to a thread with support or a challenge. Again, these responses must be well argued with details and analysis. This would also count as one post.
Your options (all are good): 2 original threads 1 original 1 response 2 responses
Like all internet based text fields, I recommend writing your ideas in a Word Doc and transferring over. It would be lame to type an amazing idea, and then lose it all when you click "create thread". Trust me, I speak from experience. Welcome back.
